- Do lorries have to have a lifting platform?
Yes, it is very helpful if the lorry has a lifting platform. But it is not absolutely necessary. We can also unload the goods from the lorry using pallets and a forklift truck.
- Is it possible to collect orders from the warehouse myself?
No, unfortunately that is not possible and would disrupt our optimised logistics process.
- Can perishable goods with an expiry date be stored?
Yes, we can store perishable goods after the best-before date (BBD). We also have a refrigerated warehouse.
- What is the difference between a cold store and a refrigerated warehouse?
Our cold store is located in the basement of our premises in Adendorf. This room is not actively cooled. The temperature does not rise above 20 degrees or below 5 degrees due to the solid construction. This storage room is suitable for products such as chocolate that need to be kept cool.
Our cold store is actively cooled to achieve a temperature between 2 and 10 degrees. The cold store is suitable for products such as semi-finished goods.
